Road to Omaha
Steam Workshop Guide
Workshop universe packs can change team names, logos, colors, conferences, stadiums, polls, and postseason branding.
Using Workshop Packs
Subscribe to a Road to Omaha universe pack on Steam, then open the Steam version of the game and go to Options > Customize. Click Refresh Workshop, select the pack, and choose Apply Pack.
If a pack says it is downloading or pending, let Steam finish the download, then refresh the Workshop list again.
Creating a Pack In-Game
Open Options > Customize > Open Editor. Make your team, conference, logo, stadium, poll, and postseason changes, then click Steam Workshop.
Leave the Workshop item ID blank to create a new item. To update a pack you already uploaded, paste the existing Workshop item ID when prompted.
Pack Contents
Workshop packs use the same customization data as exported Road to Omaha JSON files. A pack can include a manifest, customization data, preview image, and local logo files.
Relative logo paths are supported, so creators can organize logos in folders inside the pack instead of relying only on remote image URLs.
Visibility
New uploads can be private, friends-only, unlisted, or public. Start with private while testing, then switch to public when the pack is ready for other players.
Steam may require you to accept the Steam Workshop legal agreement before your item can appear publicly.
